It is the goal of the Whitefish United Methodist Church to help children develop faith foundations; to know the Bible and its faith traditions, to relate to God and the Church, and to practice their faith in daily living.

CHILD CARE We provide child care during worship services year-round in our nursery for children through age 4 or 5.

SUNDAY SCHOOL Children's Sunday School runs September through May for children ages 4 through 5th grade. This class meets after the pastor’s Children’s Message during the Sunday morning worship service through the end of the service. It is taught by volunteers from our congregation who are willing to both share their faith and learn from the faith of the children. If you would like to volunteer to teach a one month (4 Sundays) time slot, please click on the link below:

SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL During the summer months, children gain exposure to the worship service, and children’s worship bulletins based on the lectionary Scriptures are provided in an activity packet. Childcare is still provided in the nursery for children of any age.

HOLIDAY EVENTS Each Christmas, the children present a Christmas pageant at the 5pm Christmas Eve service and one other Sunday in December. The pageants are designed so that all children are welcome to participate whether or not they are members or have ever attended Sunday school at Whitefish UMC. We also celebrate Easter every year with a children’s Easter egg hunt after the 10:15am Easter service. As always, all are welcome to participate!
